The Rush-Henrietta Area Food Terminal is an
emergency food cupboard staffed by fifty volunteers who provide food on an emergency basis to needy residents in the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. We have always
appreciated the generous assistance of time and donations to help us feed the needy. We now call upon the community for financial support to help us relocate to our new facility.
The purpose of this site is to make it easy for individuals and companies to learn about RHAFT and help support our Building Fund Drive.
Our Need: A new food terminal
The Food Cupboard is moving to a new addition to the Bushman Cabin in the Henrietta Town Park. The current facility at the Webster Building needs to be used for classes this fall.
We need $65,000 from the community for the construction of the new addition, which is critical to our
Cupboard tender volunteers, Marian McHargue (left) and Beverly Sesnie, shelving food donated by organizations in the community. |
